Aim: To learn about how solar energy is used.
Hypothesis: I think that black will attract heat the most because when you are wearing black clothes they get really warm quicker.
Materials:
- 2x White cup
- Plastic cup
- Tinfoil
- Black plastic
- Paper
- Water
- Heat lamp
- Thermometer
Steps:
- Get paper and white cup (put paper underneath the cup).
- Get the tin foil and white cup (put one piece of tinfoil around the cup and one underneath).
- Get a plastic cup and black plastic (put one piece of black plastic around the cup and one underneath).
- Put 40mls water in all the cups.

Conclusion:
I found out the black contracts the most heat from light.
It turns out that my hypothesis was correct.
The colour that contracts the least heat was silver.
The colour that is not the warmest and not the coldest was white.
