P.E. Hurumanu

Hi Guys,

Recently in class, we have been working on how to work well with a team to do this we had to mark ourself out of four levels. I made this to recap on what we did:

This week in our P.E Hurumanu we have been playing kick long ball and bench ball because it was there to help us and mark us on how we contribute and work well on a team. We played in the GYM for P.E. The reason why we played was for P.E. Hurumanu when we were working on being with a team for team sports.

Our first activity was Kick Long Ball For this activity I rated my self as a: 2. To achieve at level 2 we have to show that we can consistently make some contribution to the team and use positive words but sometimes need to be reminded to play the game and not get distracted. During the first game of Kick Long Ball, I showed that I am working at level 2 by Playing the game and having fun but I also got distracted and shot some hoops instead of playing the game These examples show that I have met the standard for level 2 

Our second activity was Bench Ball For this activity I rated my self as a 3. To achieve at level 3 we have to show that we can consistently contribute to the team goal, join me in the activity and also use positive words. During the first game of Bench Ball, I showed that I am working at level 3 by Being on task and being helpful so the team could win with my contributions and I also got others involved with the game These examples show that I have met the standard for level 3

This was really fun and I enjoyed doing it.

Next week I am aiming to work at level 3 To make sure that I am working on that level I am going to work on staying on task and Getting everyone involved

My Song I have Written

Recently in class, I have written a song about basketball. The reason we made the songs was that It was a task for music.

Here is the song:
I was on my way through the street on to the courts. getting ready for the game time tieing up the shoe's cause we 'bout to be hooping. getting warmed up on the court shoot the first shot swish shish swish! fans show because now its tie and here we are right now......

We are balling like those ballers we load it up before we hoop bang! bang! bang! yea we shoot those shots and I'm not a bot. we have jump shots and some hops plus we make shots that you do not. we et you up with that sot pass it in for that dunk. wow, now there some talent that makes him the number one star.

everyone says wow now that's B-ball as I never miss swish like its netball. I never so good as I am on fire. who's this kid he be balling like Jordan. sign him up really quickly he the best well he is shooting.

My inspiration for the song was basketball because I really enjoy playing it and it is a fun sport.

The metaphors and similes meaning: we load it up before we hoop bang! bang! bang! is like when you go to shoot with a gun and the bang! bang! bang! is the sound of a gun and when you make a shot and people shout out bang.
swish like its netball this is because with netball there is no backboard so you mainly swish.

I found this task difficult because at the start because I couldn't think of an idea.

This was really fun and I really enjoyed it.
