My Burger:
Self Evaluation:
Pros: The Burger was very tasty and had heaps of flavor.
Cons: not enough tomatoes and colour.
Texture:
The texture was a soft burger with a little crunch from the searing of the burger patty. The bun was nice and soft. The toasting of the bun worked well with the other textures given off from the tomatoes and the lettuce. The cheese was nice and melted add more flavor to the overall burger.
Colour: The main color of the burger was golds and browns since the burger was all pan cooked. The only other colors were green from the lettuce and a little red from the tomatoes. If we added even a little more red the color would have been better.
Flavor: The flavor from the burger was nice and had nice and herby and salty flavors. It also had a nice kick from some spice we added in. The lettuce, cheese, and tomatoes added a nice flavor that worked with the burger. Our homemade sauce was nice and worked really well with our buns and patties.
Judges Comment: The judges said our burger needed more color and thicker tomatoes.

Results: We didn't win the first-place prize we won the prize for the best use of flavor.
Hi Tobey i really like that you made your own sauce and tried to use it as a way to present colour on your plate. I wonder what other ingredients you could have used to enhance that colour further.
