Skittles

Aim: To separate colours from skittles by using the chromatography.

Materials;

1. Skittles
2. Petri dish
3. Water

Process:

Step 1: Get five skittles and put them into a petri dish
Step 2: After that spread the five skittles out into a star shape

Step 3: Add water to the skittles.
Step 4: Wait a few minutes until you see the different

Conclusion: What have I learnt from this experiment?

I have learnt that when you add skittles to water the colour of the water changes because the colours of the skittles get put into the water.
This is also like what we did with the paper.
