Lately, in class, we have been learning about correct sentences and more advanced writing.
Here is my work:
- Write a simple sentence that describes something about the picture.
- Add adjectives to the simple sentence, to add more detail.
- Add more language features like similes or metaphors to enhance the sentence.
- Use topic words directly related to the picture.
- Use emotive language to create/clarify mood.
- Paint a clear picture in the mind of my readers and give the reader detailed and specific information.
- The guy stood on the cliff.
- The tall man stood on the beautiful cliff.
- The tall man stood on top of the beautiful cliff surrounded by great big mountains like a massive giant and a reflective river that looked like a mirror.
- The tall man stood posing on top of the beautiful sunny cliff surrounded by great big rocky mountains like a massive giant and a reflective and light river that looked like a mirror.
- The brave tall man stood posing on top of the beautiful spiky sunny cliff surrounded by great big rocky mountains like a massive giant and a reflective and light river that looked like a mirror.
It was really fun and cool to make I really enjoyed this task and I can't wait to find out what we are doing next week.
