How to play basketball

Tode day I am teaching you how to play basketball let's get started.

Basketball:

To play this game you need a round ball this ball is called a basketball. You also need a two hoops with a backboard on it. You can play inside on an inside court or outside on a outside court. You need to have a least 5 players on the court at a time but if someone get injured you might want a sub. The reason you have 5 people on the court from each team at a time is because there is only 5 position they are: point guard, shooting guard, small forward, power forward and center. You  need two of each position and they should all get at least 5 minutes of game time. The max amount of players on your team is 15 and they don't all get game time if you have that many people on there team.

Step 1. To start the game you need your center to do the tip off this is when the two centers from each team jump and try to get the ball on their side but if the center gets it on his side the other team cant get the ball or it is a redo throw.

Step 2. Get the ball and score points.

Step 3. Get the ball from the other team by taking the ball of them but don’t hit them or it will be a foul.

Step 4. If you get free throws you can not jump and you only get one point for each free throw in.

Rule 1. Don’t hit the player when he has the ball because it would be a foul.

Rule 2. Don’t hit the player when he is shooting because the other team gets to shoot free throws.

Rule 3. Don’t complain with the reef or you will get a technical foul.

Rule 4. Don’t get six fouls or two technical fouls or you are fouled out and can’t play for the rest of the game unless you have 4 people in the game because the your player are all injured.

Rule 5. You can score two type of point three pointers and two pointers to score three pointers you shoot from outside the semicircle and twoscore two pointers you score from inside the semicircle.

Rule 6. Have fun!

Score as many points as you can and try and win the game before the buzzer goes, have fun!
