My Mihi

Hi guys!

Recently in class, we have been learning about our Mihi. Here is mine that I have made.

This is how traditionally Maori would introduce themselves. They are all different and depending on where you are from and your culture your Mihi will change

Tēna koutou katoa
Ko mt Aoraki  tōku maunga
Ko Waimakariri  tōku awa
Ko  Hornby High School  tōku kura
No Aotearoa  tōku whānau
Kei  Ōtautahi   ahau e noho ana
Ko  Chris  tōku matua
Ko  Emma  tōku whāea
Ko Geldard  tōku ingoa whānau
Ko Tobey   tōku ingoa
Nō reira, tēna koutou, tēna koutou, tēna koutou katoa.

BYE!
