Gymnastics

Today in PE we were learning how to do different moves in gymnastics.

I choose to focus on doing a full turn on the bars and I have managed to complete my goal.

The main points on how to do this is to:

1. Get up on the bar. Hold the bar and get your waist to the bar.

2. Move on your stomach.

3. Roll over the bar.

put it together and get a full turn on the bars.

Juggling and Tabletennis

Hi Guys!

Today I learned to juggle and to play table some of the skills we learned was to serve the ball by hitting the ball down on your half and there half. When you play table tennis you can only hit the ball on your side of the serve. We also learned to juggle by throwing the ball up and you throw the other ball before you catch thee another ball.

Reflection: I could juggle 4 scarfs in two hands and could easily do 30 hits in a rally in table tennis.

The good things I found about lockdown: I like being about to sleep in and game.

Something negative I found about lockdown: Not being about to see my friends in person.

P.E. Hurumanu

Hi Guys,

Recently in class, we have been working on how to work well with a team to do this we had to mark ourself out of four levels. I made this to recap on what we did:
This week in our P.E Hurumanu we have been playing kick long ball and bench ball because it was there to help us and mark us on how we contribute and work well on a team. We played in the GYM for P.E. The reason why we played was for P.E. Hurumanu when we were working on being with a team for team sports.

Our first activity was Kick Long Ball For this activity I rated my self as a: 2. To achieve at level 2 we have to show that we can consistently make some contribution to the team and use positive words but sometimes need to be reminded to play the game and not get distracted. During the first game of Kick Long Ball, I showed that I am working at level 2 by Playing the game and having fun but I also got distracted and shot some hoops instead of playing the game These examples show that I have met the standard for level 2

Our second activity was Bench Ball For this activity I rated my self as a 3. To achieve at level 3 we have to show that we can consistently contribute to the team goal, join me in the activity and also use positive words. During the first game of Bench Ball, I showed that I am working at level 3 by Being on task and being helpful so the team could win with my contributions and I also got others involved with the game These examples show that I have met the standard for level 3

This was really fun and I enjoyed doing it.

Next week I am aiming to work at level 3 To make sure that I am working on that level I am going to work on staying on task and Getting everyone involved
