Hi Guys

Today in class we were given the task to write a poem about us here is my poem:

I look in the mirror and what do I see?

A  Smart, Sporty, Talkative person looking back at me.

I’m really good at Basketball

and love to Play sports come and play with me

I spend lots of time Going to school and Playing sports

and can’t wait for Things of all sorts

I could improve my Writing

And Not talking is hard for me,

But I know if I try, I’ll be the best I can be.

Hi Guys
Today in class we were given the task to make two different poems of different genres. The poem I made are really cool and I want to show them to you:
Haiku

The guns were shooting.There were shots followed by blood.They all were helpless.

Free Verse

Flutter, flutter                            Ready.

Huh.                                        almost there

Step, step                                 so close

Closer closer                            three

Stop!                                        two

Get ready to attack.                 one

Ready                                       now!

                                                  Oh no I missed

The reason I choose to use these as inspiration was that they both were really different and so was the type of poem I did so they would work together.

What I think about poetry: I am not really a fan of poetry because I can't show my emotions written down well.
