Day 2 Activity What is light:


Light moves in straight lines, it can not bend around corners. This creates shadows and means that light can travel through some things but not others. We can describe objects as being opaque, translucent or transparent.


Identify whether the following objects are opaque, translucent or transparent: Opaque: no light passes through, transparent: all light passes through Translucent: some light passes through.

  4. Mirror: opaque
